Description
Charles Lee Jenkins, 22, left, a former Midland policeman, and Homer Richard Clinton, 36, were captured by an unarmed night watchman. The pair released a kidnap victim and tried several robberies and a burglary. The men were captured at 1:45 am Thursday as they were burglarizing a soft drink machine at Masonic Temple. The capture was the final failure in a long string of crimes the pair attempted. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram September 18, 1953.
