Description
One thousand pounds is a lot of weight but the clowns in the recreation department circus prove here they can handle anything. These clowns, of the many in the circus cast, are, left to right, Mike Hickey of 3200 Lipscomb, Kenneth Allow of 1236 East Powell, and Joseph Turner of 2317 Yuma. The show, open to the public, was held at 8 p. m. August 14 at La Grave Field. The three clowns are holding a dumbbell labeled as 1,000 lbs.
