Description
For the first time since 1942 the Texas Music Teachers Association held its annual convention in Fort Worth, July 16-18. Attendance came from 18 organized local association. Dr. T. Smith McCorkle, left, dean of School of Fine Arts TCU, elected president and Dr. V. J. Kennedy of Austin, state consultant in music education, go over the program with Dr. Barrett Stout, right, of Louisiana University, and president of Music Teachers National Association, who was giving the final speech to adjourned the convention.
