Description
For the first time since 1942 the Texas Music Teachers Association will hold its annual convention in Fort Worth, July 16-18. Attendance will be principally from 18 organized local association. The featured musical event is a piano recital by Miriam Wagner, left, of San Antonio, who studied at Chicago Musical College and American Conservatory in Chicago. Greeting Ms. Wagner is Virgina France, Dallas, vice president of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) while Dean E. W. Doty of the University of Texas College of Fine Arts looks on. Dean Doty will discuss the theme of the convention "More professionalism in the music profession."
