Description
Lamesa in Dawson County has done well with it's cotton season and can do it again. But this year, with deficient rainfall the county can count on only about 12,000 bales from irrigated acreage. In spite of the decrease in country cash, the town is far from being out of business. They know that if next year's rainfall approaches normal, a good crop will recoup everybody. Shown is a busy street scene in Lamesa.
