Autographing copies of her new mystery, "Unhappy New Year," is the author, Carroll Estes, who in private life is Mrs. Joe E. Estes of Dallas. Looking on is Mrs. Johnny Wade, right, 3709 Hawlet. Mrs. Estes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Cox, 2317 Medford Center East, was here to autograph her books Tuesday in a downtown store and for luncheon at the Fort Worth Club with her mother.
