The first redbud tree-one of many which will soon dot the freeways of Fort Worth was planted Monday at Freeway and E. Seminary Dr. Inspecting the completed job are Mrs. Roy Defee, chairman of the redbud committee of the Fort Worth Council of Garden Clubs, sponsors, and John C. Blasingame, senior landscape adviser for the Texas Highway Department.
