    Description

    John Doherty, a 10-year-old child with polio, inspects the reserve champion Hereford of the junior show. The steer, exhibited by Dana Saylor of Goldthwaite, was sold to the Burrus Feed Mills Friday for $1,500. The mill resold the Hereford to the Amon Carter Foundation for $1,000 to help the March of Dimes.
