Garments which won four of eight first prizes in the Star-Telegram's Home Sewing Contest are shown here. Back, left, Miss Mary Ruth Pittman of 2620 South Jennings wears the coat she made and Miss Don Shannon of 1413 Grand, right, models the school dress which won her a prize. In the foreground, Miss Ellen Berry of 4520 Lafayette is in the dress she made to win the original design group and Donna Lasater, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lasater of Crowley, wears the dress made by Mrs. Ralf G. Hasten of Crowley.
