Description
Miss Mary McMillan, 91, retired missionary to the Native Americans, knew Geronimo, dreaded war-chief of the Apaches. She knew Geronimo then nearly 80 and still showed certain dignity and nobility. Miss McMillan work was among the Apache women, who lived in 10 villages on the reservation. Miss McMillan is sitting holding a book. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, December 16, 1951.
