Clearing out the brush for the new boat dock, left, was quite a job; and hauling rocks to bolster the causeway to the "island" was no easy work either. The photograph shows a river and few people standing on the bank of it. A truck is parked on the bank and few people are in the boat. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 12, 1952.
