These five women are deaconesses in the Central Texas Methodist Conference attending sessions of the Woman's Society of Christian Service here. They are (standing, left to right), Miss Lillian Hillburn of the Wesley Community House of Fort Worth, and Miss Gwenelle Eagan, doing the latest type of conference service, rural work, with headquarters in Weatherford; (seated, left to right), Miss Lena Mae Rust of the Bethlehem Center, Fort Worth; Miss Irene Hall of the Wesley Community House here, and Miss Lucy Gist, also of Bethlehem Center.
