Description
Dee Gee, 6-year-old maiden mare won the grand championship award in the Quarter horse halter class for mares at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. She is owned by Miss Wanda Harper, 20, right, of Mason. Presenting the award are Raymond Hollingsworth of Amarillo, secretary of the American Quarter Horse Association, and Martha Parks, 5, daughter of Mrs. Roy Parks Jr. of Midland. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 28, 1952.
