Joe Willis, 12-year-old Ector County 4-H boy, proudly exhibits his 1,000-pound Hereford calf, Jerry. The animal was named grand champion steer of the boys livestock show of the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 27, 1952.
