Joe Willis, 12-year-old Ector County 4-H Club member, stands with his 1,000-pound Hereford, Jerry, which was judged the grand champion of the boy's steer show at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Don Good, Kansas State College, Manhattan, the judge, is at the rear. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 27, 1952.
