These nine Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary couples boarded a chartered twin-engine plane for Richmond, Virginia, where they will present their candidacies for foreign missionary service for final approval by the Southern Baptist Convention. From left to right, they are: Mrs. and Reveron B. P. Emmanuel, Mrs. and Reveron M. J. Wright, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Cullen, Reveron and Mr. L. J. Harper, Reveron and Mrs. Loyce Nelson (on steps), Mrs. and Reveron R. I. Franks and children, Mike and Judy; Reveron and Mrs. G. E. Joiner, Reveron and Mrs. Wilson Ross, Reveron and Mrs. W. O. Harper. They were the first such group from the seminary to fly to the board meeting.
