Description
Mary Rose Etta McClure, 7-year-old resident of All Church Home, a Red Feather agency, was to lead the chest agencies' display as Red Feather Girl in the Community Chest parade. The parade precedes the kickoff of the chest's campaign proper to raise $666,408.96, much of which goes to children. Mary is sitting on a wooden block, and holding a flag that reads, "Give enough." Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 2, 1951.
