Description

Little Neisha Sandeford, deaf since birth, attempts to add a word to her growing vocabulary with help of Mrs. Walter Moore, instructor for the Opti-Mrs.' class for deaf children. First speech and lip-reading lessons were given to 14 youngsters in a North Himount Elementary School classroom lent by the public schools. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 3, 1951.
