Description
With a whopping $10,326.56 donated by employees of Convair's Fort Worth division, the Crusade for Freedom here neared the three-quarter mark toward its city goal. B. G. Reed, left, assistant division manager at Convair, handed over to R. Wright Armstrong, right, city chairman of the Crusade for Freedom, the last of 12 large coin sacks which totaled that sum. D. L. Lynn, center, a mechanic at Convair, represented the employees who contributed more than half of the city goal. A total of 27,695 Convair employees enrolled in the Crusade for Freedom.
