Navy Hospital Corpsman James Arthur French, Jr. center, receives from Commander W. T. Samuels, inspector, instructor at the Naval Reserve Training Center, a letter from the 1st Marine Division commanding general commending him for the valor he displayed while serving with the marines in Korea last winter.
