Description
Armed with conflicting tax assessment notices and demanding an ouster of board members, these four men were among Boyd farmers, ranchers and other Wise County taxpayers vigorously protesting action of the Boyd district school board. Left to right, are W. T. Smith, Jack Scroggins, James Garrett and D. A. Harris. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition July 24, 1951.
