The Payoff - Typical of the thousands of young Fort Worth citizens who take advantage of the opportunities offered on Recreation Department playgrounds is 9- year-old Emile Bouffard III, shown taking a cut at a softball, with J. M. West the catcher. These scenes are repeated throughout the summer days on countless playgrounds, which attract 6,000 youngsters to the varied programs offered.
