Welcome to Fort Worth-Crowd gathered at the Pike Drive-in Theater cheered loudly as General Douglas MacArthur got into a waiting convertible for the parade through downtown Fort Worth. In the circle are, left to right, Amon Carter, honorary reception committee chairman; General MacArthur, Mrs. MacArthur, and O. P. Leonard who drove the general and his party to Fort Worth from Dallas. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 16, 1951.
