Description
Mobile paving equipment of Worth Construction Company is roughing in concrete on the north lane of the East-West Expressway more than 1,000 feet east of South Merrick St. Sufficient steel is on hand for both lanes of the contract from Horne at Camp Bowie to Montgomery, but a cement shortage may delay start of the paving of the south lane. Paving equipment and an unidentified man can be seen to the right in the photograph. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 7, 1951.
