Description

J. W. Creecy, 82, of 1200 E. Daggett, was found dead in his bedroom, of a heart attack, when members of his family came to awaken him for breakfast. He lived with a son, Reverend W. J. Creecy, assistant pastor of the Calvary Temple (interdenominational) at 3809 Yucca. A retired carpenter, Creecy had lived in Fort Worth since 1919. He was a native of Bell County. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Riverside Lodge 753. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 5, 1951.
