Description
Wallace Willard , Houston's brilliant middleweight, delivers a left hook that sends Alfred Grice of Beaumont to the canvas. Willard won the bout with a right to the body for a knockout in the second round. It was a quarter-final test. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 19, 1950.
