Fifty pairs of colorful boxer-shorts made by members of the S. S. Dillow Pre-School Association were presented to patients in City-County Hospital polio ward, by Mrs. T. H. Ratliff, left, retiring president, and Mrs. J. D. Bower, second from right, new president. Shown holding up a pair for Nurse Mary McCoy, right, to look at is young Glenn Morris Day III, a patient in the ward and son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Morris Day, of Mansfield. Published in the evening edition, May 30, 1951.
