Description
Catcher Bobby Bragan of the Cats sticks the ball on the tip of Robert Balcena's toe to complete a double play the Missions in the first inning at La Grave Field. Balcena is attempting to score from third on a fly ball to Norm Postolese in right field. Bragan's perfect tag is the end of a perfectly executed play. The umpire is Mike Williamson. Two Baseball players on the field (Both men). A man wearing a black suit and hat standing facing sideways looking at the two players. A man is sliding half way to the ground and one man is crouching down with a mit on his hand and it's on the ground. The sliding man's foot is touching his mit hand. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 19, 1951.
