Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Texas A&M Aggies at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Thousands of football fans traveled from all over to catch the game. Arriving at the Texas and Pacific Railway Station are A&M cadets and students from Texas State College for Women (TSCW). A large crowd of people are stepping off the train and onto the platform. Near the bottom, left of the crowd are two young girls in band uniforms. They are the mascots of the Fort Worth all-city ROTC Band. Ramona Lester, eight is on the left and Carmen Hinds, seven, is holding her hand. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 19, 1941.
