    Description

The Stephens County Oil Play Revival is in full swing after rain delayed operations for several weeks. The weather problems made it necessary to dig slush pits because the ground was so wet. Those connected to starting the latest operation, left to right, on the front row are P. J. Knight, Walt Burrows, J. C. Knight and G. W. Ewing. On the back row are A. A. Peach, J. T. Hamrich and R. M. Smith. Mr. P. J. Knight and Mr. Ewing are the two most active operators in the event. Mr. Ewing is wearing a suit and a cowboy hat. The other men are wearing button-up shirts, trousers and hats.
