Description
The Gittings home in Lake Worth, Texas, was left in ruins by a butane explosion. Mrs. Guy Gittings, standing, and her daughter, Miss Zela Mankins, were trapped in the house and pinned under debris. They are shown congratulating each other at Saint Joseph's Hospital on their escape. Both ladies sustained only minor injuries. Mrs. Gittings is wearing a blouse, pearl necklace, skirt, and a fur coat. Miss Mankins is laying in a hospital bed.
