The 1941 Women's Texas Open Tournament is being held at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. One of the top golfers in the tournament is Patty Berg. Miss Berg is a professional golfer from Minnesota. She is wearing a duckbill hat, sweater, and knickers. She is shown putting on the green. Miss Berg, along with twelve other women, later went on to become a founder of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in 1950.
