    Description

    A Philatelic Display Truck is on a tour of the 48 states. Since the trip began on May 9, 1939, the truck has covered 18,000 miles. The truck, containing stamp collections, is stopping in Fort Worth, Texas, for an exhibit. Among the early visitors to the display, left to right, are E. Scott Avery and R. A. Davis. Mr. Avery, of Bowie, Texas, is looking at a display of departmental stamps. He is wearing a hat, dress shirt, necktie, and trousers. Mr. Davis is the postal employee in charge of the Philatelic Display Truck exhibit. He is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers.
