Description
The Board of Education Wednesday night heard from patrons protesting the proposed closing of a group of elementary schools. Fort Worth school hearing participants shown here are, seated front row, three board members Rosco Minton, Floyd Maben and H. H. Morse (partially hidden by Maben), and Superintendent Green. Seated second row, Miss Lovie Carter, Paschal teacher; Mrs. Alice Hale, Polytechnic High registrar; Mrs. Jessie Ericson, nurse; G. L. Ausmus, Polytechnic teacher; Miss Bess Simpson, D. McRae teacher, and E. R. Barton, Sam Rosen principal. Seated back row, R. O. Fincher, E. M. Daggett principal; Weldon Bradley, Mrs. Bradley, a teacher; Roy Darrow, custodian, and Miss Gladys Simons, president of the classroom teachers. All male and female are dressed professionally.
