    Description

    The Board of Education Wednesday night heard from patrons protesting the proposed closing of a group of elementary schools. Fort Worth school hearing participants shown here is, Jim Gaddy Norris, spokesman for the B. H. Carroll patrons, standing, presents the argument of his district. Around the table, left to right, are Ed P. Williams, school business manager; three board members Rosco Minton, Floyd Maben and H. H. Morse. Between Maben and Morse in the background is Bruce Shulkey, assistant superintendent of schools. Standing in the background is Reverend (Rev.) R. E. Bass, spokesman for the Worth Heights patrons. All male are dressed professionally. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 9, 1941.
