    Description

Seventy-two selectees from Camp Grant, Illinois, en route to Camp Wolters, Mineral Wells, Texas, took advantage of the facilities offered at the United Service Organization room at the Bowen Bus Center during a layover in Fort Worth, Texas. Left to right, Chester Piwowar, of Chicago, Illinois, uses a safety razor on the stubble of Gilbert Smalley, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, while Willard Milligan, of Cairo, Illinois, looks on. Milligan has one hand on Smalley's shoulder and one hand is holding Smalley's head still. Piwowar is wearing a sleeveless shirt and trousers. The other two military men are shirtless.
