Description

The final round of the Golden Gloves state tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in the bantamweight championship left to right are Richard Menchaca and Melvin Wilson. Menchaca is shown landing a left hook to the ear of Wilson. Menchaca went on to win the decision. He figures to be one of Texas' top threats at the Tournament of Champions in Chicago, Illinois.
