Description

The Baylor Bears are opening their college football season at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. They are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys (dark jerseys). Baylor opened the scoring in the first quarter of the game when quarterback Jack Wilson (41) ran for a ten-yard touchdown. Wilson is shown weaving around the Cowboys' right side and out-footing the defense. Johnny Haynie (20) is the nearest Cowboy defender. Baylor went on to win the game 20-0. A photographer is on the far left with a large hand-held camera. "(Star-Telegram Photos by Frank Reeves.)" Published Star-Telegram Morn. Sep. 28, 1941
