Description

The Golden Gloves state tournament opened Thursday night at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Competing in the ring left to right are Billy McDavid and Jose Andreas. Andreas is originally from Mexico and only speaks a few words of English. The seventeen year old is representing Fort Worth, Texas in the Flyweight division. Andreas went on to win the division giving Fort Worth the top team performance. They had a clean sweep with four wins in four starts.
