Description

The Golden Gloves state tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. The second night action began with a fight in the light-heavyweight division. Left to right in the ring are Herman Choate of Fort Worth, Texas and Tom Attra of Austin, Texas. Attra is shown just after landing a crushing right to Choate's face. Choate stumbled back and went down for an eight count before rallying. The referee is standing near the edge of the ring. After the wild and wooly fight, Attra was named winner of the decision.
