The 1941 college football season is opening at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. The Texas Wesleyan Rams are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys (white jerseys). The Rams scored a touchdown early that was called back. Officials ruled backfield motion. The Rams back Johnny Hunter (50) is shown driving low, with the ball. His teammate with his back to the camera is Warren Cohn (26). Sitting on Cohn is Cowboy Floyd Hooten (93). The Rams at the right are Frank Collins (34), Kave King (43) and E. F. Parham (51).
