Description
W. A. E. Woods brought two Irish Terrier Trophies home to Texas. The first of which was presented to Mr. Woods' Ballywood Kennels in Irving, Texas. The James Eager Memorial Trophy is awarded to the kennel that accumulates the most points from winning the American-bred class at dog shows in 1939. The plaque depicts an Irish Terrier and is carved with the winner's information. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 18, 1940.
