Description
W. A. E. Woods brought two Irish Terrier Trophies home to Texas. The James Eager Memorial Trophy is given to the kennel that accumulates the most points from winning the American-bred class at dog shows in 1939. It was awarded to Mr. Woods' Ballywood Kennels in Irving, Texas. The second award is the Andrew A. McCabe Memorial Trophy, given for accumulating the most points by wins in the American-bred class. This award went to Mr. Woods' Irish terrier, Conchubair. Mr. Woods is standing in front of a door, dressed in a pinstripe suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 18, 1940.
