Description
The Golden Gloves state tournament opened Thursday night at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Facing off in the ring left to right are Lencho Vera of San Antonio, Texas, and Bob Weaver of Kermit, Texas. Vera is hunched over after Weaver hit him with a strong uppercut. The crowd is sitting at mat level, watching the intense fight.
