Refugee Children Reach Haven Here. It was happy landing for these two Jewish refugee children at Texas and Pacific Station Monday morning when they arrived to make their home with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Englender. Left to right are Elsa Kokotek, 13; Englender (uncle), Inge Kokotek, 9, and Mrs. Englender. The children left a refugee society home in unoccupied France a month ago, reached New York eight days ago. Their mother, Englender's sister, died in 1935. Their father is "somewhere in Poland." Holocaust survivors. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition September 8, 1941.
