They Can Smile-Now. Robbed of their mother by death and their father by Hitler during the Holocaust, these German refugees faced the world with a smile as they arrived in Fort Worth Monday to begin life anew. They are left to right, Inge and Elsa Kokotek, nieces of Mr. and Mrs. Sol Englender, They are shown arriving at the Texas and Pacific Railway Station in Fort Worth, Texas. They are smiling as they step off the train. Their mother died in 1935 and their father is being held somewhere in Poland. The children left a refugee society in unoccupied France a month ago for New York. From there they traveled to Fort Worth to make their home with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Englender.
