    Description

The coaches for the Paschal High School football team are preparing for the home opener against Electra High School at Farrington Field. Pictured, left to right, are Blanard Spearman and Wilson Groseclose. They are hoping that the 1941 team will be a vast improvement over the 1940 squad. Coach Spearman is dressed in a sweatshirt. Mr Groseclose is wearing a hat and a sweatshirt. Portion of the article about them: "Pascal mentors Blanard Spearman and Wilson Groseclose planned only light work for Tuesday and Wednesday. It now appears that the Panthers will be able to field their very best combination for the opener with Electra at Farrington Thursday night. The Paschal coaches aren't doing a lot of talking, but it's suspected the team they'll trot out against the District 2-AA members will be a vast improvement over their 1940 club."
