Description
Officers of the Burton Class of Central Methodist Church discuss plans for "Victory Visit Day," September 14, when many Fort Worth, Texas, churches will be host to Camp Wolters soldiers. The officers are, left to right, Mrs. Loutitia Armstrong, president; Worley Jones, chairman of the "Victory Visit" committee; Lanier Morris, vice president; and Mrs. Tommie Blair, secretary. Mrs. Armstrong, Mr. Morris and Mrs. Blair are seated at a wooden table while Mr. Lanier stands behind Mr. Morris. Mr. Lanier appears to be pointing out something on a paper that is placed in front of Mr. Morris. Mrs. Armstrong is wearing a short-sleeved, light colored dress, a plaid print hair scarf and a cross necklace. Mrs. Blair is wearing a polka-dotted dress and a woven hat. The men are both wearing dark suits. Behind them are two windows.
