Girls who will attend Hockaday School in September of 1941 were photographed at a luncheon given by Miss Ela Hockaday II to honor her house guest, Miss Paula Rupe. Sitting on a couch, left to right, are Misses Ella Jean Waggoner, Bettye Offutt, Ela Hockaday II, Paula Rupe, Beverly Blain Taylor and Betty Jean Jackson. Standing behind the couch are Miss Marguerite Hogsett and Miss Glenn Hill. Behind them is a staircase. The girls are all wearing different patterned dresses and hats. Miss Waggoner and Miss Jackson are sitting on either armrest of the couch.
