Captain Claude Ward Junior, of Fort Worth, Texas, regimental dental surgeon for the 112th Regiment, First Sergeant Fred W. Parnell, of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Private First Class Thomas Bunch, also of Mineral Wells, Texas. The three men are shown taking a brief break next to an ambulance car. Each of them are dressed in military uniform. Private Bunch is holding a beverage in a glass bottle. Sergeant Parnell and Private Bunch are in the regiment's medical detachment and the latter is an ambulance driver.
